Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% marks in aggregate. For Manager, 3 years of officer-cadre experience in a commercial bank, or 5 years in a co-operative bank or financial institution (DFI, NBFC, insurance or investment company). Must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
Age limit
Manager 21–42 years; Asst Manager 21–32 years (as on 01 Apr 2026). Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-servicemen; 10 years for PwBD

Reservation follows the rules of the Government of Odisha.

Eligibility

  • You must be a permanent resident of Odisha.

  • Preference is given to candidates with a Master's degree in Finance, Bank Management, Cooperative Management, Business Administration or Information Technology. For Assistant Manager, preference also goes to those with experience in a bank or financial institution.

  • The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC (OBC), women and ex-servicemen. Persons with benchmark disability get 10 years. If you fall in more than one category, only the most beneficial relaxation applies.

  • You will not be eligible if you have been dismissed from a cooperative institution, public sector undertaking or government service, or if you have been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude.

Selection process

  1. Online written test

  2. Viva-voce (interview) at the bank's head office at Kajala, Kendrapara, or another venue decided by the bank

Final selection is based on the combined score of the written test and viva-voce, along with experience. The online exam is tentatively planned for November/December 2026. The call letter can be downloaded about 10 days before the exam.

The question paper is in English. Each wrong answer carries a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks for that question. There is no penalty for unanswered questions. Cut-offs are applied on individual tests and on the total score.


How to apply

  1. Go to the bank's official website, open the Career page and click "APPLY ONLINE".

  2. Choose "Click here for New Registration" and enter your name, contact details and email ID. Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.

  3. Fill in the form. You can use "Save and Next" to check your details before final submission.

  4. Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.

  5. Preview the form, then click "Complete Registration". No changes are possible after this.

  6. Pay the fee online and click "Submit". Take a printout of the e-receipt and the application form.

Important: Keep four scanned images ready before you start: photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm), signature, left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration in English. Signature or declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS is not accepted. Your application will not be registered without all four.

  • Proof of date of birth and all mark sheets and certificates

  • Residential certificate

  • Caste certificate for SC, ST and OBC candidates. OBC certificates must have the non-creamy layer clause and be dated on or after 01 Apr 2021.

  • Experience certificate, where applicable

  • No Objection Certificate, if you are working in a government or public sector office or a nationalised bank

  • 3 recent passport-size colour photographs

  • Character certificate from two Gazetted Officers, or two MLAs or MPs

Warning: Your name on the call letter must exactly match your photo ID. Mobile phones and calculators are not allowed in the exam hall, and late arrivals are not permitted. Application fees are not refunded.
